Matthew Cutt

As a chartered accountant with over 19 years of experience in the UK, Australia, and Thailand, Matthew has worked extensively within the BDO family as prior to joining this firm was a partner with BDO in Australia. His connection to Thailand began in earnest when he met his wife (who is Thai), and fell in love with the country and its culture as well. He has since immersed himself into the Thai business community as he is also a Director and Treasruer of the Australian Thai Chamber of Commerce "Austcham" and delivers various webinars and presentations to the Thai business community. Some of which is accredited with the Thai Federation of Accountants (FAP).

Matthew has particular specialist industry expertise in the hospitality, automotive, transport and logistics, and mining industries. His focus is on deal advisory with deep expertise in financial due diligence helping clients exectute deals across the region. He also focuses on valuations and lead (sell side) advisory services for clients both locally and Internationally. These clients range from private equity funds to Thai listed PLC's.

Yet his passions extend far beyond technical pursuits. “As an advisor and the firm’s international liaison partner,” I’m focussed on the direct needs of our clients across the region. When I see each challenge from the client’s point of view, I can begin to map out creative ways they can adapt.”
