Matthew Cutt

Matthew is a lead Partner in BDO Thailand’s Deal Advisory practice. He has over 22 years of professional experience across three continents, including 18 years with BDO globally.

Matthew specialises in advising clients on buy-side and sell-side transactions including financial / vendor due diligence and provides independent valuation advice to support transactions, financial reporting, restructuring and strategic decision-making.

Since relocating to Thailand eight years ago, Matthew has focused on building and expanding BDO’s Deal Advisory capabilities as Lead Partner. He has successfully advised on numerous cross-border and domestic transactions across a wide range of industries, supporting international investors, private equity firms and corporate clients.

Prior to joining BDO Thailand, Matthew was a Partner with BDO in Australia, where he worked for over 10 years and developed extensive experience in transaction advisory and assurance services. His combined international experience provides clients with a strong understanding of regional market dynamics and global best practices.

In addition to his professional role, Matthew is actively involved in the business community. He is Treasurer and a Board Member of the Australian-Thai Chamber of Commerce, contributing to strengthening business relationships between Thailand and Australia.
